What has five segments, is golden yellow and crispy on the outside and full of soft crumb on the inside? That’s right, it’s a bread roll! How is it processed from grains and flour into the finished product on our breakfast table? In this guided tour, we get a glimpse behind the scenes of food production. We explore how foods are produced, where they come from and how long they can be used. The group examines how various foods are processed into the products sold in the supermarket, at the farmers’ market, the baker’s or the butcher’s.
