Guided Tour
“Calculating machine”, “code” and “algorithm” – these words are used to explain computers and how they work. But what is actually behind them? On this guided tour, we peek inside a PC case and playfully explore how computer programming works. By looking at historical calculating machines, we discover surprising similarities between looms and modern computers. We decipher secret messages and critically examine how computers convey information to us. Together, we get a feel for digital technology – in a completely analogue way!
