Too good to throw away? Give your favourite T-shirt a second life by turning it into a tote bag with us. In our DIY workshop, we upcycle old textiles into something useful as a creative way to reduce waste and cut down on material consumption.

Workshop
In this workshop, you’ll transform a T-shirt you’ve brought with you into a practical DIY tote bag. Before we get started, we’ll explore the exhibition More than Recycling together to discover exciting ideas and solutions for reducing waste and keeping materials in use for as long as possible. Textiles are a part of our everyday lives, and their production affects energy and water consumption as well as the environment. What role does fast fashion play in all this? How can each of us help ensure that products and raw materials remain in circulation rather than being wasted? And when can technology be the solution? Let’s get to the bottom of this together!
Don’t forget to bring an old T-shirt to the workshop!
