It’s all just stolen? Ideas of biomimicry

Nature has worked out many things almost perfectly, whether cleverly arranged honeycombs or beetles that are virtually impossible to crush. This guided tour explores how technical challenges have been solved while often “stealing” adaptations of plants and animals.

Guide
The children can experience first-hand the fascinating interplay of technology and biology! Biomimicry transfers successful adaptations of plants or animals into technology. The careful observation of nature makes it possible to find applications for technical solutions.

This guided tour for the whole family takes a closer look at technical developments and their natural models. At the end of the tour, the children will have the opportunity to test a biomimetic effect themselves!
