Rare earths, rubber, steel and air are vastly different substances. Yet all of them are essential materials for our modern way of life. Whatever we use in our daily lives, countless raw materials are involved – sometimes clearly visible, sometimes hidden away or cleverly processed.
The exhibition “Material Worlds” invites you to take a closer look: What are our vehicles, clothes and devices made of? Which materials accompany us without us even noticing? And how can we ensure that valuable resources are extracted sustainably and reused efficiently?
