Reduce, reuse, recycle

How many things do we really need? How are they made? And what becomes of them when they lose their value to us? In the workshop on the exhibition More than Recycling, we want to get to the bottom of these questions.

A circular economy means using things for as long as possible and avoiding waste. This helps us to protect the environment and secure a good future. To achieve this, we need to use raw materials responsibly, make production processes more sustainable and change our consumption habits. Using the example of old clothing, we’ll look at the potential for circular use and sustainable reuse: what actually happens to the clothes we donate? The exhibition shows how technical solutions and practical ideas can help us waste less and reuse more in everyday life. Then we need your input: what do you really need to own, and what could you borrow from each other? What are you willing to give up, and what can you do without?

Two accompanying adults can participate for free.
