Workshop
With the Centre for Society, Science and Communication – “the Seventh Faculty” – the University of Graz has set itself the goal of making scientific topics more transparent and conveying science and research in a simple and easy-to-understand way.

The “Cooking the industrial way” workshop is all about the “tricks” of the food industry, such as molecular gastronomy, formed meat or strawberry yogurt that does not contain an ounce of strawberry.
The “Fermentation – Basics” workshop presents and explores sustainable processing methods that make use of leftovers – to the delight of your palate and for the sake of the climate!

Whether it is about finding out if “faster and cheaper” food is really “better” or examining energy- and resource-saving preservation techniques – the workshops offered by our collaboration partner “Taste Lab” are always a worthwhile and enjoyable experience!
