Presentations that change every six months showcase current research projects and a wide range of innovation sectors to shine a spotlight on the ingenuity of Austrian companies.

The shift away from fossil fuels towards renewable energy sources offers a wide range of opportunities – but also presents challenges. Wind and solar power are not available at all times, which calls for forward-looking solutions in the field of energy storage and management. Organised in cooperation with VERBUND as a partner of the Innovation Corner, the second presentation at the TMW focuses on innovative developments in storage technologies and flexibility as key building blocks of a renewable energy system.
Whether it’s innovative batteries made from sustainable raw materials or electric cars that become mobile storage units, the Innovation Corner showcases the latest technologies for the transition to a renewable energy system and their vast potential for innovation.
