mini mobil

Closed since 12 April 2021

The interactive area for our youngest museum visitors aged 2-8 went into well-deserved retirement on April 12, 2021.
ENDED

The "mini mobil" established a connection to real life on approx. 600m2 in a self-determined and playful approach to the topic of mobility and included several areas full of adventure:

Driving track

Get behind the wheel of all sorts of vehicles and dart through the town, tunnels and countryside on the driving track. Join other children and take on the challenges of road traffic and road behaviour.

Ship

“Ship ahoy!” Cast your rod over the railing and put your fishing skills to the test. Or would you rather slip into various mobility-related professions? If so, just open the treasure chest and dress up as a pilot, astronaut or police officer. In the meantime, the adults can relax on deck and watch you negotiate the track.

Space

In the meantime, the youngest among you can explore space, launch a rocket or build a lunar landscape. By the way: Who’s that hiding in the planet hut?

Airport

Have you always dreamt of flying a plane? Or do you fancy finding out more about the airport and all its hustle and bustle? Help with the luggage security checks or with loading the aircraft. Fly the model airplane from the cockpit of our “mini mobile aircraft” and try and fly it above the clouds – but don’t forget to fuel up the aircraft beforehand. Or make a swift exit from the colourful aircraft by sliding down the emergency chute.

Rest area

The rest area is the perfect spot to recover from all the excitement. There are benches for young and old to have a snack and there is also a beverage station so that adults can unwind as well.
