The abbreviation MINT (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology) gives the new area its name and at the same time its programmatic orientation: "minTi" offers young children an age-appropriate introduction to the world of science with the topics of mobility, transport and construction, thereby promoting the joy of discovery and the urge to explore. The well-known graffiti artist RUIN was responsible for the colourful and child-friendly design.
Key topics at minTi
Children can explore the main theme of transportation with tricycles, wheelbarrows and a rocking ship. There is also a fire engine that fascinates visitors of all ages. No less popular is the "construction site" theme, which is represented by a crane, soft building blocks and a conveyor belt that reaches up to the second level of the children's area. Children can constantly redesign their surroundings, which stimulates their imagination in a playful way.
Other interactive stations, such as a magnetic wall, encourage creative design and exploration of physical and technical principles in a child-friendly atmosphere. To balance out the movement and design activities, there is a quiet zone with books and cushions, inviting children to read aloud, recharge their batteries or enjoy a cosy end to their visit.
Reservation system for a relaxed stay
