The Technisches Museum Wien has a large collection which has also been made possible by the generous donations of companies and private individuals. If you think that you have a technical object with an interesting history or important written sources, images or books on the history of technology, please get in touch with us.
However, we hope you understand that, given the huge number of donations offered, we have to be highly selective in our choices. We need the following information to decide whether to include an object in the collections:
- Name/title/subject, history of use, manufacturer and year of manufacture (if known), size/length
- Photos documenting the actual condition
