Humans & AI: digital interactions

Self-driving cars, “intelligent” prostheses and “smart” toilets – will they soon be part of our everyday reality?
Kindergarten & School
7–13 Grade
Guide
Artificial intelligence is already being used in many areas. But this new technology also raises questions about whether the promise of easier work or more efficient processes will also be accessible, sustainable or serving the common good.

Pupils will explore “smart” and “intelligent” systems that are already shaping our everyday lives and have significantly changed the world of work. Illustrative examples are used to discuss how the technologies behind AI applications work: the principles of machine learning and neural networks. The group discusses the opportunities, risks and potential uses, but also the (ethical) limitations of this technology and where these developments might lead.
Please note that this tour can only be held until the end of June 2024.
