Guided Tour
T-shirts, jeans or jumpers – clothes are part of our everyday lives. But before our garments make it into our wardrobes, they have already come a long way.

Together, we’ll discover how textiles are produced, which technical developments have shaped the textile industry, and what resources are required for this. However, the story of a garment does not end with its production: Issues such as fashion cycles and the disposal of textiles are becoming increasingly important.

Using objects, interactive stations and fascinating examples, this guided tour shows how raw materials, technology, production and consumption are all interconnected.
