Guided Tour

Just plug it in and it all works! But where is electricity actually generated and how does it get to our homes? How long have we had household electrical appliances and who could afford them?

Our guided tour answers these and many other questions. We take a look at households 100 years ago and get to see first-hand what everyday life was like in the days when our great-grandparents were young.

Please note the age requirements! Children under the age of 8 may only participate when accompanied by an adult.
