Innovation Corner: POWER ON

With the Innovation Corner, the TMW offers Austrian start-ups and innovators a platform for pioneering technologies. Presentations that change every six months showcase current research projects and a wide range of innovation sectors to shine a spotlight on the ingenuity of Austrian companies. In cooperation with Verbund as a new partner of the TMW, this format explores the innovative projects developed by an established group in collaboration with start-ups.

POWER ON! The future of power generation
In the first joint presentation, visitors to the TMW gain exclusive insights into how the future of power generation is already becoming a reality today: Eight projects demonstrate Austria’s innovative strength in the field of sustainable power generation, presenting cutting-edge solutions that are shaping the path to a green energy future.

Discover a nervous system for wind turbines, diving robots designed to improve the servicing of hydropower facilities, and autonomous drones for monitoring critical infrastructure. Visitors will learn what organic photovoltaics are, how digital twins of hydropower plants can be used, and what 3D printers have to do with securing our energy supply.

The Innovation Corner presentation format features eight innovative technologies to demonstrate that the future of power generation has already begun.
