At Meet the Maker*, a Maker talks about their own projects and processes. In a moderated setting, we casually share questions, experiences, and tried-and-tested tricks on various topics – from operating CAD software to programming robot arms to fashion design using the laser cutter.

Screen Printing Without the Mess
At our Meet the Maker event, Maker*in Alexander Branczyk, graphic and type designer, demonstrates how to create your own printing screen using a thermal process – completely without chemicals, exposure, or washing out. Participants can try for themselves how a black-and-white image becomes a screen ready for printing. This shows how designs can be transferred and illustrates how quickly, cleanly, and easily screen printing can work.
  • The event lasts from 2:00 pm to around 4:30 pm and takes place in the techLAB.
  • No prior knowledge is required to participate.
  • Limited number of participants due to spatial capacity.
