The techLAB is the third, interactive component of the exhibition ‘Work & Production. thinking_ahead_’.

This Maker Space invites you to get hands-on.
Ever fancied using industrial manufacturing equipment to make your own things? Or become more self-confident and launch your own projects? The techLAB provides computer-controlled tools for you to do so: laser cutters, 3D printers, programming.

It’s a great opportunity to learn by attending our workshops or simply trying things out for yourself and working on your own projects – always under the watchful eye of our experts, who are on hand to explain the handling of the equipment within the process: personalised learning and developing, easily accessible, and at your own pace.

You’ll be able to learn about current production and manufacturing technologies as well as the basic digital skills of new Industry 4.0 professions. As you learn by doing, you’ll also get to experience why working with these new technologies is so much fun and what skills are required to excel in the work and production environment of the future. Innovative technologies, an understanding of the digital world, and creative problem-solving skills are certainly all part of it.

techLAB opening hours:
Thu–Sun / 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm
Mornings are reserved for workshops and schools.
