Energy

Energy – from muscle power to power plant

Just plug it in and it all works. Many everyday items would be useless without electricity! But what was it like in former times? Who did all the work and how did machines function without electricity?

Guide
We take a trip through the history of energy: Muscle power, steam engine, nuclear power, electricity – how do all these forms of energy work?

Moreover, we find out how people harnessed the power of water and wind as early as 500 years ago – and why we are now returning to these “old” energy sources to generate power in a more eco-friendly way.
Please book in due time – the tours at 9 am are quickly booked out. Two accompanying persons can attend for free.
