techLAB

Welcome to the techLAB – the museum’s maker*space

Laser engraving, 3D printing, programming computer games – too difficult for you? We don’t think so!
permanent
In our techLAB, you can implement small projects independently at your own pace using technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutters or cutting plotters. Our competent explainers help you quickly familiarise yourself with our makerspace, learn the handling of the equipment and acquire the necessary digital skills.
Whether using wood, fabric, cardboard or microcontrollers, you can create things based on your very own ideas: After all, there is a maker inside all of us!

The techLAB offers several computer workstations with open-source programmes installed on them, which are also available for free download on the Internet. So if you have discovered or developed something in the lab, but cannot or do not want to stay in the museum that long, you have the opportunity to continue working at home. Of course, you can also bring your semi-finished project with you to complete in the lab.

On our online platform, we share a great number of project ideas and guides, and everyone is welcome to present their own projects as part of the techLAB community! In addition, you will find information about the existing equipment, the software products and materials used as well as upcoming dates.
