The project rocket has been launched – in various ignition stages – and the entire team is heading towards different orbits. To collectively and ceremoniously conclude the launch phase of This is (not) Rocket Science!, all Rocket Members gathered on Monday, June 19, 2023, for the shared SPACE DAY of This is (not) Rocket Science! at the Technisches Museum Wien.


Around 200 children and young people spent the morning participating in various stations at the museum, produced a collective sound collage, designed the symbolic project rocket, and met representatives from ESERO Austria, LIQUIFER, and the TU Wien Space Team. Depending on their age and interests, they explored the museum alone, in small groups, or as part of a larger group or class. There were presentations and activities, as well as time for games, breaks, and refreshments – before noon, when everyone collectively counted down:
10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... we had a lift-off!
