High-voltage extravaganza

On Sunday, 29 January 2017, Wien Energie and the Technisches Museum Wien will once again be joining forces to put on a spectacular high-voltage extravaganza. It’s an opportunity for you and your family to witness exciting experiments, hands-on installations on the topic of energy, and a stunning show that whisks you away to the world of electrical charges and currents. Free admission with Wien Energie tickets.

The ever popular high-voltage demonstrations are to take place in the Festsaal [Grand Hall] for the first time – and on this date only! And we’re delighted to be welcoming the Tesla expert Alexander Trnka. Together with his own Tesla transformers and the band ‘The Coils’, he will transform the Festsaal into a concert hall.

Hands-on stations (10 am to 5 pm) invite you and your children to embark on a voyage of discovery to the world of energy.

Free high-voltage demonstrations in the Festsaal for the very first time – and on this date only!

Numbered tickets subject to availability. Tickets are available from the ticket desk 30 minutes before the demonstration is scheduled to begin.
