Spider’s legs and lotus beetles?

What does a spider’s leg or shark skin have to do with technology? To find out, join us on our action-packed guided tour and witness bionics at close quarters.

What can plants teach us about aeronautics? How can spiders help us come up with new ideas for technical inventions? How do small beetles in dry desert conditions manage not to die of thirst? And how can that research help people with limited access to water? Why are aircraft wings and wind turbines closely related to nature?

On our tour of the Museum we’ll be looking in depth at all these questions. And you’ll get to touch real shark skin, not to mention a spider’s leg. At the end we’ll experiment together to find ways of keeping dishes and walls permanently clean.
