In 2015, the Museum and Junge Industrie jointly developed the education initiative 'Technik kinderleicht!' for kindergarten and primary school teachers in the field of science and technology.

Especially in the first years of life, children are particularly curious and learn quickly. Any support that benefits children under the age of six has a particularly positive effect on their further education. In order to arouse the interest of 3 to 6 year olds in science and research as early as possible, the Technisches Museum Wien, together with Junge Industrie, has developed a further education programme for kindergarten teachers in the field of science and technology, building on the educational work in the museum.

The project 'Technik kinderleicht!' enables teachers to acquire additional technical and scientific qualifications, building on the children's living environment and horizon of experience. In addition, aspects such as problem-solving competence, recognition of connections and language development are included. Since 2015, over 700 teachers have been successfully trained in annual rounds and special workshops with selected educational institutions. The training courses include experiments and instructions for the participants, which are included in the 2017 publication on the project 'Technik kinderleicht!'.
